June is a great time of year to search for babies. I’ve seen more elk across the region lately, pretty much everywhere I’ve travelled. And yes, my trips this year have been limited to day trips closer to home than I usually make. Seeing young elk calves is enjoyable though and this little one was certainly entertaining, even when momma said it was time to settle down.
