Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day in the US! Be safe and wear a mask if out in crowds! This is a relatively old image and I don’t photograph fireworks often. The last 6 years, since we our first dog came home with us, I stay home on the Fourth to help keep the pups calm. The noise from fireworks stresses them badly. I used to take them camping to get away from it, but then we had a baby. While she’s ready for her first camping trip, it will probably be later in the summer, so once again, this July Fourth, I’ll be home comforting my dogs.
