It snowed in the mountains the night before I was supposed to leave for Glacier National Park. I knew the local mountains would look fantastic and it was with some hesitation that I left that morning. I had been keeping an eye on this scene waiting for the right amount of snow to complete the look I was after and that morning I had it. I couldn’t pass it by so spent some time shooting different compositions as the clouds and light changed. Fortunately the clouds settled in and covered up the mountains or I may have never made it up to Glacier National Park.
